Paul Giltinan AMATSU Practitioner (AAI)

It is a gentle, corrective treatment which aligns and rebalances the body’s structures; maintaining good health for everyone, including children and the elderly.
Amatsu treats the underlying cause of the problem, not just the symptoms; therefore a lower back pain may involve working on the foot, knee or neck as well as the perceived area of pain for the treatment to be effective.
A treatment is known as a ‘balance’.
Most balances are carried out fully clothed.
-
The initial session is for an hour; this includes a medical history, lifestyle and health questionnaire. Subsequent sessions are for thirty minutes.
-
Observation, palpatation, assessment of mobility and flexibility, muscle testing together with knowledge of anatomy and physiology are utilised to build a comprehensive picture of the torsion or injury.
-
Various techniques are used to suit the requirements of each individual.
-
Acupressure points are stimulated; this opens neurological pathways and energy meridians.
-
Anma massage breaks down fibrous tissues, removes toxins and improves circulation.
-
Cranial Balancing: by gently supporting the head and neck, tension is released; this can alleviate sinus problems. Migraines, headaches and stress related conditions.
-
Repatterning is used to return the body to the original non-traumatised state.
-
When the body is balanced healing can occur at an accelerated rate.
This combination of techniques is very effective. However, we advise a course of treatments to eliminate both the symptoms and its underlying cause.
